Convincing people to sit in a tiny room on a hot day to watch someone do stand-up is one feat; making sure that you’re actually entertaining enough for them to stick around and endure the make-shift sauna for an hour, is another.

In a completely packed out room, Daniel instantly put us at ease. Sporting a subtle Aussie charm and his signature red tracksuit bottoms, Muggleton had the whole room laughing with his hilariously dry approach to observational comedy. From good looking people taking public transport, to vegans, and being as “woke” as possible – Muggleton seamlessly flowed through an array of topics; each one invoking the same fantastic response, as the last. It’s refreshing to watch a show that doesn’t follow a strict narrative. Yes, Daniel tells us about his life, but turns out, life is going pretty good for this comedian – Quite the twist!

Daniel comes across as a really smooth comedian who’s mastered the art of crafting  a joke. If you’re looking for a top quality show that doesn’t involve a tragically sad or emotional final act; an easy comedy experience you’ll enjoy over a refreshing bevvie, then Daniel Muggleton is your man.

Catch Daniel at The Laughing Horse @ The Counting House (The Lounge), every single day at 4PM, it’s FREE and non-ticketed. More details here: https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/daniel-muggleton-pimpin-ain-t-easy-but-i-reckon-it-s-easier-for-straight-white-men
